“I am from rural area of India. I like village life very much. I am working as painter from past ten years. Being a painter is very important for me because I want expresses myself through this medium.

The main subject for my paintings are Indian women. I have seen it in my childhood in my village, women facing misery, working hard all day in the field, and doing household work too, but never complaining about it. This is what influenced me to use them in my paintings.”
