Amol enjoys exploring all mediums and likes to experiment in various forms, color schemes and textures. Most of his paintings are a fusion of the abstract and figurative. His work is steeped in the Indian mythology and his love for calligraphy, texture, nature, and animals is reflected in his work.
The most famous is his ‘Shakti’ series – the men, women and animals, be it the bull or the horse, all show the force within. They are strong, forward moving, breaking away and confronting challenges. The interesting element in his paintings is the use of small icons, numbers, calligraphy and textures meticulously weaved into the background.
