Summer Somewhere

Summer Somewhere

Summer, Somewhere brings together a selection of works that respond to the feeling of summer through colour. Rather than depicting the season directly, the exhibition looks at how light, warmth, and atmosphere can be held within a surface. Bright hues, open compositions, and moments of intensity run through the works, creating a shared visual language across different practices.

There is a sense of familiarity in these pieces—of places remembered, pauses in time, or fleeting impressions that are difficult to locate but easy to recognise. The idea of “somewhere” remains intentionally open, allowing each work to suggest its own space, mood, or memory.

Together, the exhibition becomes less about a fixed season and more about a state of mind—where colour carries both immediacy and afterglow, and where summer continues to exist, just out of reach yet vividly present.
