Seen Felt Remembered

Seen, Felt, Remembered
There are things we see, things we feel, and things that stay with us long after we have looked away.
Seen, Felt, Remembered brings together the works of Tauseef Khan, Shashikant Dhotre, Ashok Bhowmick, Parth Kothekar, Suraj Kumar Kashi, Subuddha Ghosh, Biswajit Mondal and Swapan Kumar Palley – artists whose practices, though distinct in language and sensibility, share an engagement with observation, experience and the traces that life leaves behind.
The exhibition moves between the recognizable and the imagined, the intimate and the expansive. A landscape may become a memory; a figure may carry an emotion beyond its physical presence; an architectural space may evoke a place that exists as much in the mind as in the world. Detail, texture, gesture and atmosphere become ways of looking beyond the immediately visible.
What connects these works is not a singular style, but a shared impulse to pause and pay attention. Each artist transforms an encounter with the world through a personal vocabulary – sometimes precise, sometimes poetic, sometimes fragmented, sometimes deeply contemplative.
Together, the works invite us to consider how seeing is never entirely objective. We bring our own histories, associations and emotions to what we encounter. What begins as something seen can become something felt, and eventually, something remembered.
This exhibition is an invitation to linger in that space between perception and memory – to look closely, feel freely, and allow the works to stay with us.
